With over 30 different courses available in Phoenix. There is something for everyone, no matter what type, of course, you’re looking for, but not all are created equal. Some of them are public courses, and some of them are private. Below is a list of the top golf courses in Phoenix:

TPC Stadium Golf Course: Arnold Palmer initially designed this course as an 18-hole layout for the 1996 PGA Tour season opener. Now open to the public, TPC Stadium offers two nines that make up a 27-hole facility with desert views and pristine landscaping all around. The first nine features wide fairways surrounded by beautiful trees, while the back nine challenges players with narrow fairways tucked into palm tree-lined oaks – perfect for those who want more than just scenery from their round!  Learn about more golf courses with Twin Golfer.

Troon North Golf Club at McCormick Ranch: Troon North has something for everyone. If you want to play with a Pro, this is the place to be. If you’re going to spend some time on the range, this is the place for you. If you’re looking for a relaxing game, Troon North has got that too! With one of Arizona’s most extensive practice facilities (two driving nets and two putting greens), it’s no wonder why so many professionals choose not only to play here but also train at this course.

The Westin Kierland Golf Club: The club boasts three nines designed by Tom Weiskopf in 1996 – all with contrasting characteristics from each other. The first nine features water hazards and beautiful mountain views, while the back nine offers rolling hills dotted with palm trees. This golf course provides something new every few holes, making sure your round never gets boring!

Royal Palms Resort Golf Course has a lot to offer golfers of all walks of life! With three nines of varying lengths, this course is perfect for beginners who want to take their time learning the game and experienced golfers looking for a challenge!

The Golf Club at Red Mountain: Designed by noted Canadian architect Ron Garl in 1997, The Golf Club at Red Mountain’s 18-hole layout challenges your mind and body with its unique design. With plenty of elevation change throughout the course, it does feel like you’re on top of the world when playing here!

The Arizona Golf Resort is one of the most popular courses in Phoenix. This course has been voted the best golf course in Arizona many times, and it’s easy to see why. With fairways lined with palm trees surrounding your every move on this 18-hole layout, you’ll be reflecting on how beautiful Phoenix is for years to come!

Noted architect Robert Trent Jones Sr designed camelback Golf Club. It features two challenging courses that have hosted various championship events, including The Ryder Cup, PGA Championships, and the U.S. Opens. It is regularly ranked among America’s top 100 public golf courses! There are also more than 50 bunkers strategically placed around each hole so players can test their skills off both the tee and green!

If you’re looking for something more traditional, try Golf Club Scottsdale. This course is known for its revered history with hosting the Phoenix Open and a long list of other major golf tournaments.

The city has so much to offer in terms of courses; you’ll never be short on options no matter how skilled or beginner your game may be!

The Best course that we have found happens to be TPC of Scottsdale. You can play at any time, day or night, on this course! There are more than 50 bunkers strategically placed around each hole, and you can play at any time of the day or night! Hole #13 is one of our favorite holes because it requires players to hit over a huge water hazard, but there’s an island green for every player who makes that shot! It will make your heart pump out of your chest with excitement on this hole alone, and we think it’s worth the visit just for this challenge alone.

The most affordable course in Phoenix has to be Desert Mountain Golf Club. For only $27, you can enjoy a round of golf that is worth more than the money spent! The course has an expansive view, and it’s open year-round. Desert Mountain Golf Club also offers tee times to your liking, so don’t worry about having enough time to make it in for one day or another because they have everything planned out for you here!

The worst course we found was Phoenix Municipal Golf Course. This is not much of a surprise considering how expensive this place is but on top of that, there are no holes longer than 200 yards which make games pretty dull all around. There were three shots throughout our entire game, and while the green fees may be high, at least the views will keep you entertained if you choose to visit during an excellent time of year like Spring or Fall!

These are just some courses that we recommend around Phoenix if you’re searching for something new to try out. Remember – even seasoned pros need a break from all those long hours at work now and again too 🙂 We hope these suggestions help guide you in the right direction when golfing in Phoenix, AZ. Lastly, it’s important to remember safety, and Phoenix, AZ, is HOT! So be sure to stay hydrated well while you’re out there on the course to ensure the best day possible of golf!
